Come and join Wee Susie Stitches at this full day workshop and learn how to make a beautiful quilted panel that can be used to make a cushion.

You will learn how to:
Use a rotary cutter and quilting ruler to cut precise squares
Sew these together to make a patchwork panel
Baste your quilt to wadding and backing
Quilt the panel
Make your panel into an envelope cushion

What do I need to bring?

Sewing Machine

Thread & bobbin

All materials will be supplied but you can bring a selection of fabrics to make the patchwork
panel. These can be scraps of fabric as long as they are cotton non stretch fabric and a square of
3 inches can be cut from it.
Optional (if you have them)

- Rotory Cutter
- Cutting Mat
- Quilting Ruler

How much sewing experience do I need to attend the workshop?
You will need to be able to thread a sewing machine and sew a straight line on the machine.

Will I complete the project in the 6 hours?
It is possible to make the cushion in 6 hours. However, if you don’t complete it you will have full
instructions to allow you to finish at home.

Tea, coffee and homemade cake will be provided.  You can buy lunch from Thistle & Thyme cafe next door or bring your own packed lunch.
