Come and join our tutor Marnie for a fun and inspiring introduction to Cyanotype printing. This is a camera-less photographic technique that produces a white and Prussian blue image. The prints are a fascinating blend of artistry and chemistry, resulting in striking blue toned images. This method of creating images with the sun and iron compounds has been around since 1842 and has been used by many artists to capture the beauty of nature.

Marnie will explore with you the different ways of having fun with cyanotype using botanicals where she will talk a little about pressing flowers to images and what is needed to transfer photography or drawings onto cyanotype.

The process isn't complicated and is perfect for beginners. Please feel free to bring along any items you would like to capture.

All materials are included along with tea, coffee and homemade cake.

If you need to cancel a workshop

We do not offer refunds however we are happy for you to transfer the ticket to someone else so that it can be used. Please advise us of any name changes in advance of the workshop.

If you contact us at least 7 days in advance of a workshop, then we can see if someone on the waiting list can attend in your place. In this instance we would offer you a full refund if someone on the waiting list takes your place.

Our right to cancel a workshop

On the very rare occasion that we need to cancel a workshop due to unforeseen circumstances, we will give you as much notice as possible.

We reserve the right to cancel a workshop if the minimum attendance number has not been reached.

If we cancel the workshop you will be offered a full refund. Unfortunately we cannot accept liability for travel or other consequential costs.
