Join us for a festive crochet bauble making workshop! Why not bring a friend as a festive treat? The Colour Dasher is running a series of seasonal events at The Old Barn for anyone wanting to give crochet a go. Crocheting is a great hobby not only for getting creative and having fun, but for managing your mental health and wellbeing. Even 5 minutes of crochet helps to distract you from life's stresses and helps you to recharge.

Designed for total beginners, this class starts from the very beginning and guides you through the first things you need to know to get started with crochet, and will show you some universal skills you need to make some beautiful, handmade projects. You will learn some useful, basic crochet stitches that you'll find in most patterns, as well as some tips and tricks to help you on your way to mastering crochet.

You'll learn some common crochet stitches and techniques that you can use for lots of different crochet projects. You'll also learn how to read and follow a crochet pattern. You will make your own crochet bauble to take home.

All materials and tuition will be provided along with tea, coffee and homemade festive treats.

If you need to cancel a workshop

We do not offer refunds however we are happy for you to transfer the ticket to someone else so that it can be used. Please advise us of any name changes in advance of the workshop.

If you contact us at least 7 days in advance of a workshop, then we can see if someone on the waiting list can attend in your place. In this instance we would offer you a full refund if someone on the waiting list takes your place.

Our right to cancel a workshop

On the very rare occasion that we need to cancel a workshop due to unforeseen circumstances, we will give you as much notice as possible.

We reserve the right to cancel a workshop if the minimum attendance number has not been reached.

If we cancel the workshop you will be offered a full refund. Unfortunately we cannot accept liability for travel or other consequential costs.
